George is certified through the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and has achieved the Professional level.  He is a  member of the United States Racquet Stringers Association (USRSA),  and is a certified youth coach through the National Association for Youth Sports (NAYS).   George has been coaching youth sports including football, baseball and basketball since 1988 and coaching tennis since 2002.  

George served on the USTA Georgia Board of Directors as Vice President for 2007 & 2008.  George is also a proud member of the Georgia Professional Tennis Association and has served the GPTA as the Executive Director and Vice President.  George has received several awards including the 2015 President's Award, 2005 Independent Pro of the Year and 2004 Member of the Year for the Georgia Professional Tennis Association!  George was also recognized by the Professional Tennis Registry, an international association, as the 2005 Georgia Member of the Year.  George was also nominated for 2005 & 2006 Professional of the Year for USTA Georgia.

George loves Tennis, Aviation (he is a private pilot), and travel.  He is a Husband, Dad, and Desert Storm Vet.
